Industrial Equipment Surveyor

Our client, a leader in Industrial Safety Compliance is looking to add an Industrial Safety Equipment Surveyor to their team! This position will start out being trained here locally and after a period of time, will be travelling about two weeks out of the month. Travel will be M - F, across the entire US. You will essentially be surveying industrial equipment and documenting energy sources. Great fit for someone who has a background as a machine maintenance supervisor and understands the travel aspect of the role.

The right candidate will have:

Experience in industrial and manufacturing equipment including electrical, fluid and mechanical systems, machine tool, automation systems and more. Ability to work independently, strong problem solving, talk with various levels in the shop environment, and overall coordination of travel and work assignments based on need (non-emergency situation related) Strong communication skills regarding project status, concerns and other issues Strong understanding of OHSA and other safety requirements in an industrial environment Must be able to travel about 50% of the time. Domestic mostly, flying out Monday, returning Friday. Some projects may take weeks to complete, but you'll be home on the weekends! Ability to work unlimited OT while traveling.
