Keep track of materials and quantities used and help make sure maps and records are accurate. Inspect natural gas pipeline work, such as digging, installing pipe, and backfill/restoration. Assistonsite crews withinitialjob setup, coordinate with road construction crews, review plans, and talk with customers and address concerns who may be affected by the work Ascends/descends into job site areas to complete inspections and data collection Attain thorough andaccuratedata collection. Set stakes for construction surveys, right of way, and easement. Operate Trimble GPS and robotic Total Station. Record locations of pipe welds, foreign crossings, and pothole data. Maintains file management of project-related information including enter data, and create as-built documentation for projects observed, using programs such as Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Complete weld maps, pipe tally, and logs as required. Check calculations on cut sheets, set-up, calibrate use and maintain survey field equipment.

Field observation including verifying and documenting federal, local and company compliance. Inspect pipeline installation, joint fusion, leak surveys, backfilling, compaction, trenching, and restoration work. What you will bring:
One or more years of experience in construction, topographic, right of way, boundary surveys, locating and underground utility installation. High School Diploma or GED. Good communication skills. Reliable and able to follow multiple step directions. Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains. Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing. A valid driver's license and clean driving record. Our preferred candidate will have land or utility survey experience. Ability to operate Trimble GPS, Total Stations, and other survey equipment. Experience with Auto CAD, Civil 3Dis preferred. Proficiency in mobile technology (iPad) for reporting and documentation.Working Conditions/Location:
Primarily field-based role must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Travel, including overnight stays, is sometimes required. Work taking place outside of the standard area will offer a per diem for travel expenses (meals, lodging, etc.). Reliable transportation required and the ability to travel daily within assigned territory, mileage reimbursement provided. Potential to travel in the offseason to other areas of the country to provide support to those teams. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.Who We Are:
