LOCATION
Office location 3401 W. Broadway Business Park Ct. Columbia Fieldwork throughout Mid Missouri (Majority Boone County)

Full Time
PAY RANGE
$22/hr. - $50/hr. based on qualifications and experience

Office Hours:
8am - 5pm Monday through Thursday and 8am - Noon on
Fridays Field Hours:
Typically follow office hours, but may vary based on project need
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated surveyor or surveyor in training to perform field and office work for boundary surveying, topographic surveying, construction staking, and other land surveying tasks for residential and commercial projects. Construction layout of site work and utilities utilizing GPS and robotic total station. Minor to moderate survey calculation, keeping detailed notes and logs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent Valid Missouri driver's license Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and E-mail Understanding of mapping concepts Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with clients, construction crews and team members Appreciation of constructive feedback to refine skills
WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT INDIVIDUAL PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Land surveying work experience PLS, LSIT or Surveying courses to qualify for LSIT Experience with or ability to AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience with Bluebeam and/or Adobe Acrobat Pro
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Much of the work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions. The requirements of this position may involve extended periods of strenuous physical activity under various field and weather conditions. Applicant must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out, climb, kneel, bend twist, and push/pull.
Pay:
$22.00 - $50.00 per hour
