Field / Surveying Engineer (Construction Technology)

Full benefits package About the Role We are seeking a Field / Surveying Engineer to support a large, long-term construction project using cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) and BIM technology . In this role, you'll be on-site daily using advanced AR tools and surveying equipment to verify construction installations, prevent errors, and ensure work is built exactly to design. This is a highly visible, hands-on role working directly with contractors, engineers, and project leadership. Future projects may be in other locations, so some flexibility for travel or relocation down the road is a plus. What You'll Be Doing Perform daily site inspections using AR and BIM-based technology to verify installations match design models Use total station equipment to set and traverse control points Verify layout, quality, and progress of construction installations Identify clashes, errors, or discrepancies before they become costly rework Produce daily and weekly inspection and progress reports Coordinate with contractors and site teams on daily and weekly work plans Attend coordination meetings and support project planning Process, review, and manage field data to ensure accuracy Work closely with site leadership to maintain inspection schedules and workflows Prepare and manage updated BIM/Revit models for field use What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in field engineering, surveying, or construction layout Hands-on experience with total stations, laser scanning, or similar surveying tools Background in construction, surveying, civil engineering, or related field preferred (but not required) Strong attention to detail and quality Comfortable using technology and learning new tools Experience with BIM, Revit, Navisworks, or 3D models is a plus (can be taught) Proficient in Microsoft Office Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening What's Offered Competitive salary: $75,000
