Land Survey Party Chief (Lincoln, NE) Do you have experience in land surveying and want to lead a team? Description We seek a Full-Time Land Survey Party Chief in our Lincoln office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can communicate effectively with clients and team members. This individual will have a proven track record of land surveying expertise. Additionally, this candidate will: Serve as a Party Chief of a survey crew to perform field work on civil engineering, construction, and general surveying projects, including topographic, ALTA, boundary, Right of Way, and As-builts Process field data and perform staking calculations using LGO Accurately perform vertical and horizontal control surveys with necessary calculations under the direction of a Registered Land Surveyor and/or Party Chief Maintain and operate all instruments and equipment needed to complete surveying tasks Demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors on project sites Work outdoors in both developed and natural environments
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent Three years experience in Field Surveying Demonstrated experience using computers in a professional environment Working knowledge of Leica Equipment, Processing Software, and Data Collection Ability to work a flexible schedule with longer hours while maintaining concentration in varying weather conditions Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability and willingness to perform work in both the field and office settings Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk and stand frequently
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in Land Surveying, Drafting Technology, or related Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) Certification Demonstrated experience with Auto CAD Civil 3D Like what you see?
