Construction Site Surveyor

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform field work on civil engineering, construction, and general surveying projects. Place construction stakes at designated points and drive them into the ground. Collect topographic as-built survey data and mark as-built locations of underground utilities. Keep accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe work performed. Operate and maintain equipment that would include a tablet computer, digital camera, survey grade GPS, robotic total stations along with other measuring tools. Communicate effectively, both written and oral, daily, with the project team.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent 2+ years of experience in land surveying is preferred. Able to complete topographic survey with guidance from project engineer. Should be highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively Ability and desire to problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong desire for continuous learning and personal growth Efficient and safe work habits Some construction experience is helpful Agriculture experience preferred but not required Valid driver's license with a driving record that is approved by our insurance provider. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Summary As an Engineering Survey Technician, you will be integral to the success of our projects by utilizing your expertise in GPS, land surveying, and data collection. With a focus on civil engineering and construction, you will contribute to the precision and quality of our surveying efforts, ensuring project goals are met efficiently.

$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
