Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Party Chief to lead a field crew in various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in land surveying with expertise in data collection and the use of advanced surveying equipment. As a Party Chief, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations, ensuring accuracy in measurements, and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the surveying process. This position is an outside, physical labor job. Ability to travel is required. Requirements Must pass drug screen test Must have a good driving record with a current and valid driver's license. Must have multiple years of experience in running a survey field crew. Responsibilities Lead and manage 2-3 or 4 man field crew to ensure efficient workflow and project completion. Must be able to operate all survey equipment. Conduct site surveys to gather accurate measurements and data Understand, compute, and interpret field calculations relative to the survey data collected Cut and clearing brush and trees from line of survey Setup and take down survey equipment on job sites Collaborate with project managers to discuss project requirements and deliverables. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all field operations. Skills Proficient in land surveying practices. Experience with land surveying equipment Strong data collection skills with attention to detail. Excellent leadership abilities to direct crew members effectively. Strong communication skills
