A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

- $50•55/hr Suffolk County, NY Temp-to-Hire | Full-Time | Monday-Friday $50•55 per hour Travel Required (Majority Field-Based Role) Position Overview Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking a New York Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Nursing Home Surveyor in Suffolk County, NY.
Qualifications Required:
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license Valid driver's license and ability to travel to onsite assignments Ability to obtain Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) certification within 12 months of employment Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new regulatory systems Experience (One of the Following Required): Two (2) years of experience in utilization review, claims adjudication, medical review, fraud investigation, surveillance, or monitoring activities; OR Three (3) years of clinical or administrative healthcare experience; OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing and two (2) years of clinical or administrative experience #HHS Job Type:
