Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Approximately half of the position will focus on growing Gateway's
ALTA/NSPS
Land Title Surveys, construction staking, and as-built services, while the remaining time will be divided between supporting corridor survey projects and assisting with general workload needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and prepared to contribute to both field operations and the strategic growth of our surveying services. This role also carries leadership responsibilities, including supervising field crews, managing projects, and serving as a point of contact for clients and team members.
Primary Focus Areas:
  • ALTA, Construction Staking & As-Builts
  • Drive the growth of
ALTA/NSPS
Land Title Surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys.
  • Manage and take responsibility for
ALTA/NSPS
Land Title Survey projects from initiation through final deliverables.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to expand market share.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies, proposals, and workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Supervise survey field crews and assist with updating standards of procedure.
  • Corridor Surveys
  • Support and execute corridor survey projects for utilities, transportation, and municipal improvements.
  • Collect, process, and review field data to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Assist with mapping, plan preparation, and deliverable review.
  • General Survey Support
  • Provide technical assistance on a variety of survey tasks as workload demands.
  • Collaborate with field crews and CAD technicians to deliver high-quality products.
  • Perform quality checks, data review, and office support as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the state of Oklahoma. 2-5 years of professional surveying experience required. Experience working with customers. Background in construction staking. Proficiency in Civil 3D preferred (willing to provide training if needed). Field surveying experience is essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as part of normal duties. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
