This role involves field layout, staking, and coordination for large-scale ODOT construction projects across the state. If you have a deep understanding of ODOT standards and a commitment to precision, safety, and efficiency — we want to hear from you.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of construction surveying experience, including ODOT road and bridge projects . Strong knowledge of ODOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction and ODOT CAD/Survey Manual . Proficiency with Trimble or Topcon equipment and software (Trimble Access, TBC, Magnet, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or MicroStation). Experience with processing alignments, profiles, and surfaces from ODOT-provided digital files (XML, TIN, CSV, DGN). Ability to work independently or with a survey crew in the field, often in fast-paced construction environments. Valid Oklahoma driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to read civil blueprintsPreferred Qualifications:
SIT or PLS certification is a plus but not required. Previous experience with bridge staking , including abutments, piers, bearings, deck elevations, and anchor bolts. Knowledge of ODOT's Earthwork Pay Quantities and station/offset formats.Job Type:
