Job Description
FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY!
Monday through Friday - 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. This is skilled engineering field and office work involving complex decision-making and considerable independent judgment. The Engineering Inspector prepares and interprets bidding documents and construction drawings for all department, provides technical support in the public works department involving construction inspections, cost estimating, surveying and related office functions. Work with minimal supervision; considerable interaction and communications with a variety of state and local government entities, contractors, the general public, and Borough management staff.EXPERIENCE
Four (4) Years increasingly responsible experience in surveying, construction inspections, and related engineering office procedures. Considerable knowledge of contractual practices relative to scheduling and the preparation of contract documents. Knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS functions and applications. High school diploma or GED.Benefits
