At Apex, you don't just join a company, you help shape what comes next. This position is based out of our of Somerset, PA office. Your Responsibilities as a Land Surve yor : Perform topography, construction stakeout, as built, and control surveys using conventional and GPS survey methods. Perform aerial mapping surveys using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and have a general understanding of UAV technology. Proficient with Carlson and Trimble GPS systems Strong technical skills and knowledge of construction drawings. Have a solid understanding of CAD/Carlson software. Document field observations and prepare daily field reports. Perform office computations for stakeout Observe safe work practices. What we're looking for: GED or High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred. 3+years of survey experience required Ability to work with design engineers, clients, contractors, and the general public Ability to work well in a team environment Experience with different surveys and survey equipment. Ableto perform manual labor, able to carry50+ pounds of equipment, walkacross varying terrain, etc. Good driving record. Thorough understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations Why you'll love working for us: Company-subsidized medical and dental.
