Surveyor Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Surveying or related field preferred Proficiency in using surveying instruments and equipment Strong mathematical skills, including algebra and geometry Knowledge of drafting techniques and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints Experience with Trimble software or an equivalent software program Familiarity with GPS is required Ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsSurveyor Responsibilities and Duties:
Use surveying instruments and equipment, such as, GPS, total stations and robotic instruments Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, sketches, and digital records of survey data Perform calculations and analysis to determine distances, angles, elevations and areas Create detailed maps, plats, as-builts and reports based on survey data using software Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate survey information for project planning and design Ensure compliance with surveying standards, regulations and safety protocols D.L.George & Sons Employee Benefits :
