Construction Survey Coordinator Wilmington, DE (remote considered after a 2-week in-person onboarding) Role Summary We're looking for an office-based Construction Survey Coordinator to support our construction layout and 3D modeling work for heavy/highway contractors. You'll prepare layout points, generate cut sheets, coordinate with contractors, and assist with field crews scheduling. This is an office/CAD role based in Wilmington, DE. For the right candiate, we will consider remote work after onboarding. What You'll Do Create construction layout point files from plans/models Assist with construction modeling Produce cut sheets Coordinate with contractors with stakeout scheduling Support scheduling and dispatching of field crews Organize and manage project files and revisions What We're Looking For Construction industry background (Surveyor, Civil Engineer, Civil Designer, Survey technician, Estimator or related field) Strong computer skills and comfort working all day in CAD environments Ability to read and interpret civil/site plans (alignments, grades, offsets, utility profiles, etc.) Detail-oriented and ability to follow file management best practices CAD / modeling experience (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble Business Center) Prior survey setup experience Understanding of coordinate systems, control, and field layout workflow MESH Consulting, LLC is a consulting engineering and surveying firm specializing in 3D construction modeling for automated machine control and in construction stakeout.
