Coal Creek Consulting is looking for a driven, coachable individual to join our Phoenix team as a Site Acquisition Specialist I. No prior wireless infrastructure experience is required. Currently, we're looking for the right attitude and potential, not a list of industry credentials. This is an entry-level, client-facing role that supports the leasing and entitlement process for wireless telecommunications projects. You'll learn to identify, evaluate, and help secure new cellular sites while working closely with clients, property owners, tower companies, and government agencies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct file audits and research site rings to help identify and qualify properties for telecommunications equipment. Prepare and submit Site Candidate Information Packages (SCIPs) with required data, maps, and photos. Assist with drafting and reviewing lease agreements, amendments, renewals, and access agreements under the guidance of senior team members. Track deadlines and update task progress in Quickbase and client databases. Support communication with clients, landlords, tower companies, and government agencies. Attend and help document site walks, scoping meetings, and community meetings. Assist in preparing zoning and permitting applications and supporting documentation. Deliver accurate, complete work that reflects Coal Creek's standards and values.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Build rapport and trust with landlords and property owners on behalf of our clients. Learn and apply client and company processes, growing your knowledge of site acquisition best practices over time. Take on increasing responsibility and independence as skills and experience develop.

Qualifications:

No prior experience in the wireless infrastructure industry is required. Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); willingness and ability to learn Quickbase, Adobe Acrobat, Google Earth, and GIS Maps. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, and to communicate clearly in writing and in person. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow instructions and work through practical challenges.

Requirements:

Must currently reside in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. This is a hybrid position, combining in-office time at our Scottsdale office, remote work days, and field site visits in the Phoenix market, with occasional travel to surrounding states such as Nevada and New Mexico. A background check and drug test are required. Will need a home office set up for remote workdays, with high-speed internet. We will provide all computer equipment needed. Willingness to travel, hike, and climb ladders to visit sites, as needed. Access to a 4-wheel drive vehicle is helpful. Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
