Survey Coordinator Location:
Remote The Survey Coordinator manages customer survey projects from initial inquiry through final delivery and serves as a liaison between customers, field crews, drafting teams, surveyors, and internal staff. Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email Gather project scope and document relevant information Schedule survey projects and coordinate field assignments Prepare field packages and communicate project requirements to field crews Maintain accurate project notes and documentation Monitor project status and coordinate communication between field, drafting, and office teams Review field work and project files for completeness before drafting and delivery Coordinate invoicing, approvals, and final survey delivery Assist with workload distribution and project deadlines Support and train Survey Coordinators as needed Identify opportunities to improve coordination processes and workflows Perform administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, filing, and quote conversion Qualifications 3-5 years of survey coordination, project management, customer support, or related experience preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred At least 1 year of drafting experience preferred Knowledge of land surveying terminology, field operations, drafting, and project workflows Strong organizational and communication skills High attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/project management systems Surveyor in Training (SIT)

Hybrid The Surveyor in Training supports survey production, drafting, field-data processing, and quality control while gaining experience toward Florida professional licensure. Responsibilities Draft boundary, topographic, and mortgage surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D Process and QC field data, including traverse closures and control points Prepare survey maps and legal descriptions for licensed surveyor review Review field notes and identify missing or inconsistent information Coordinate with field crews when additional information is needed Work with licensed surveyors to review and improve completed work Assist with document preparation, record research, and project tracking Qualifications Florida SIT registration or actively working toward registration AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency or strong AutoCAD experience with the ability to learn Civil 3D Basic understanding of surveying principles, including traverses, bearings, distances, and legal descriptions Strong attention to detail Ability to receive and apply technical feedback Interest in progressing toward Florida professional surveyor licensure This position provides opportunities to gain qualifying experience under licensed surveyors and exposure to multiple types of survey work. Active Florida Professional Land Surveyor license The Senior Land Surveyor is responsible for professional review and oversight of survey deliverables and provides technical guidance to survey staff. Responsibilities Stamp, seal, and take professional responsibility for applicable survey deliverables Review boundary, mortgage, topographic, and construction surveys Perform QA/QC of work completed by field crews and drafting teams Review CAD drawings, field notes, legal descriptions, and supporting documentation Ensure survey work complies with applicable Florida laws, regulations, and professional standards Communicate with title agents, attorneys, engineers, developers, and other clients Identify project scope issues, legal description discrepancies, and field-data concerns Mentor Surveyors in Training and junior survey staff Support team members working toward professional licensure Qualifications Active Florida Professional Land Surveyor license required Knowledge of Florida surveying requirements and professional standards Experience with boundary, mortgage, and topographic surveys Experience reviewing CAD-produced survey documents and field information Strong attention to detail Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Senior Land Survey Drafter Location:
West Palm Beach, FL Work Arrangement:
Hybrid The Senior Land Survey Drafter supports project coordination and quality control using a strong technical background in land survey drafting. This position focuses on reviewing survey deliverables, coordinating outsourced production, communicating project requirements, and maintaining efficient project workflows. Responsibilities Review customer requirements and determine project scope Assist with project quotes, pricing, and timelines Coordinate research and drafting assignments with outside production partners Ensure drafting teams have required field data, documentation, and client specifications Review and redline survey deliverables for accuracy and completeness Identify drafting errors, inconsistencies, and missing information Communicate technical requirements to drafting and field teams Resolve discrepancies involving field notes, research, and drafted surveys Track project schedules and vendor costs Maintain communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams Qualifications 2+ years of land survey drafting experience required 1+ year of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD software required Understanding of land survey production and documentation Ability to review legal descriptions, title information, field data, and survey drawings Previous survey coordination or project management experience preferred Associate or bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field preferred Strong organizational, communication, and quality-control skills Benefits Benefits vary based on position and eligibility and may include: 401(k) Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Voluntary benefits Professional development and advancement opportunities
