Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our clients team in Coraopolis, PA. Our client is a Civil Engineering firm that's been in business for over 50 years and they're hiring a Land Surveyor with experience working on Pipeline, Commercial/Residential Land Development & Municipal water/sanitary line projects. This is a full time, direct hire position with the starting pay rate of $30.00-$36.00/hour plus medical benefits, 401k and the use of a company vehicle to travel to job sites throughout Allegheny County.

Requirements:

Experience with

GPS, G.I.S.

Mapping, data collection, preparation of survey field notes & office calculations Experience with topographic surveys, property surveys, ALTA Land Title Surveys, as-built surveys, construction layout for residential & commercial developments, construction stakeout for municipal road, waterline, & sanitary sewer projects, deed & plan research. AutoCAD & Civil 3D experience is plus
