Position:
We are seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor to join our Transportation and Infrastructure team. If you are passionate about designing mega-scale infrastructure projects and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and schedule survey work activities for multiple concurrent projects, with a focus on major transportation and infrastructure projects throughout the New York metropolitan area. Lead survey operations for MTA, LIRR, and Metro-North projects, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements. Check and reduce raw field data, perform calculations, and file survey data. Lead the survey control team to provide accurate control points for laser scanning activities. Prepare and execute quality control reviews, safety and quality assurance procedures, and the final QC of all survey documents.
Qualifications:
New York Professional Surveyors License required, New Jersey Professional Surveyors Licensed preferred Minimum 2 years' experience as a Land Surveyor Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field preferred. Proficiency with modern survey equipment, including total stations, laser scanning technologies, etc. Proficiency in structural analysis software and design tools, including AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
