Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Microstation OpenRoads draftsman to join our Land Surveying team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land surveying and drafting, and will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, survey plats and site plans. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with surveyors and field technicians.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings using Microsation and OpenRoads. Process field data from Trimble equipment into Microstation platform. Collaborate with team to prepare plats, retracement surveys & topographic surveys Ensure all drawings comply with State and Local standards and project specifications. Revise and update drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope. Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and related documentation. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentation materials related to land development projects.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an OpenRoads Draftsmans preferred. Autocad Survey cad experience as a backup Knowledge of land surveying principles and practices. Strong technical drawing skills with attention to accuracy and detail. Familiarity with cad design standards. Ability to read and interpret survey data, maps, and plats. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Relevant diploma or certification in drafting, land surveying, or related field is preferred

Other Responsibilities:

Preparing staking notes through cogo points and/or alignments to export to Trimble field equipment. Review all documents for quality control prepared by others before final submittal to licensed land surveyor

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.87 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
