EOE Essential duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Keeps clear and accurate field notes by recording all significant data. Performs sufficient checks in the field and records same in the field notes. Checks travers angle closures and level run closures in the field before coming into the office. Ensures that data collectors are downloaded on a daily basis (if needed) and reviews a print of each day's field file. Signs and dates the field data file after it has been reviewed. Use proper safety equipment and follows proper safety field procedures. The Crew Chief is responsible for the safety of the crew, vehicles, and equipment, and the public's interest. Resolves their own project-related problems and consults with the Survey Manager or Survey Supervisor when there are scheduling issues. Portrays a professional appearance by wearing the appropriate clothing in the particular work environment. Runs the field survey crew and serves as the crew Rodman on a 2-man crew. Assists Surveyors and Surveying Associates in the field with

ALTA/NSPS

Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, Topographic surveys, As-built, and Route surveys. Perform other duties as assigned. Some overnight travel may be required

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Surveying from an accredited four-year college or university or an Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 4 years related experience preferred. Minimum 3 years of surveying experience in appropriate field relevant surveying. The Education and/or Experience requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus Valid driver's license relevant to the State of the office assigned. S. I. T.
