Job Description
The position of CCPC Survey Analyst involves the following: Researching property information in circuit courts and online Setting up new projects for Surveying and Drafting departments Actively managing ongoing surveying and drafting projects Communicating professionally and effectively with clients and field personnel Drafting CAD drawings from plat and deed data Supporting survey crews with occasional field work Occasionally drafting easement plats Occasionally acting in place of Right of Way manager Each candidate for the position should possess the following: Strong experience with and fluency in: o land surveying practices and principles o interpreting data from CAD drawings, survey plats, site plans, property deeds, wills and engineering exhibits Working familiarity with: o civil engineering principles and construction procedures o VDOT plans and utility easements Good driving skills and a clean driving record; the position involves: o zero to four days of out-of-town day-travel each week o zero or one day of overnight travel each month A certain degree of scheduling flexibility Working proficiency with: o Carlson AutoCAD o Adobe Acrobat andMicrosoft Outlook, Excel, Access and File Manager Ability to pass random drug-screening and criminal background checks The ideal candidate will possess the following: personal communication skills organization and scheduling skills attention to detail problem-solving skills personal initiative
