WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Junior Field Surveyor, you will support survey crews on a wide variety of projects, including: Boundary surveys Topographic surveys Construction layout and stakeout Existing conditions documentation Day-to-day responsibilities include: Assisting with the setup and breakdown of survey equipment including GPS/GNSS, total stations, tripods, and prisms Collecting and recording field measurements and observations Maintaining clear field notes and project documentation Assisting with construction stakeout activities Supporting daily safety practices and field operations Learning survey methods, equipment operation, and industry best practices from experienced team members
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
No prior survey experience required — we provide training and career development for individuals eager to grow in the profession. High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license required Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrain Comfortable lifting and carrying field equipment up to 50 lbs. Strong work ethic and genuine willingness to learn Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Ability to work effectively as part of a team
