In this role, you will utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to gather precise data, interpret complex spatial information, and produce accurate schematics that support project planning and execution. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and with the highest standards of accuracy. Responsibilities Conduct land surveys using GPS, 3D scanners, Total Stations, and other precision instruments to collect accurate spatial data. Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and schematics utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS software such as ArcGIS. Perform ALTA surveys and boundary surveys to establish property lines in compliance with legal requirements. Collaborate with civil engineers and construction teams to develop site layouts, grading plans, and construction schematics. Utilize advanced tools like Trimble equipment and Carlson software for data collection, processing, and analysis. Interpret topographical data through trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math principles to support project design and planning. Assist in the creation of 3D models using Revit or Civil 3D for visualization of land features and infrastructure projects. Ensure all survey activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory guidelines while maintaining meticulous records of fieldwork. Experience Proven experience in land surveying within civil engineering or construction environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of land surveying principles including GPS technology, Schematics, ALTA surveys, and data collection techniques. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, as well as GIS platforms like ArcGIS. Familiarity with modern surveying tools including 3D scanners, Trimble systems, Carlson software, and Revit is advantageous. Solid understanding of civil engineering concepts related to construction layout, topographical mapping, and site development. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while applying mathematical concepts like trigonometry and algebra. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and documentation.
