Heavy Civil Construction Equipment Operator - Finish Work Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Civil Construction Equipment Operator with a strong background in finish work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in grading and finish-level construction and be proficient in operating excavation and dozer equipment using Trimble GPS systems.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, etc.) for finish grading and excavation tasks. Utilize Trimble GPS systems for precise grading and excavation. Perform finish work to meet project specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks. Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance. Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on grading and finish-level work. Proficient in using Trimble GPS systems for excavation and dozer operations. Strong understanding of site plans, grading specifications, and construction documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

Certifications in heavy equipment operation. OSHA safety training.
