Job Description

I'm working with a well-backed, survey-focused firm that is expanding its presence in the Nashville market and looking to bring in a Survey Group Manager to help lead and scale their survey operations. This team has a strong reputation in land development and commercial work, with a healthy backlog already in place, and is looking for someone who can step in, take ownership, and play a key role in shaping the future of the group. The Survey Group Manager will be responsible for: Leading day-to-day survey operations across field and office teams Managing project delivery for boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and land development surveys Providing QA/QC oversight and stamping survey deliverables Coordinating with internal engineering teams, developers, and clients Mentoring and developing junior staff while supporting team growth Supporting business development and helping drive project pipeline The Survey Group Manager should have the following qualifications: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Tennessee 5+ years of experience in land surveying Strong background in boundary, ALTA, and commercial/land development projects Proven experience managing projects and/or leading teams Technical proficiency with survey workflows and CAD platforms Ability to balance technical responsibilities with client interaction
