Looking for your next opportunity in land surveying? Allpoints Surveying is seeking a field-based Rodman/Instrument Man - Party Chief Opportunity , in Austin, TX to be responsible for surveying and investigating land surfaces to project precise measurements in the assigned area. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented with solid problem-solving capabilities. Also, the ideal candidate will be competent and comfortable in serving as a single crew member. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the field, takes pride in producing quality work, and is comfortable taking ownership of a project from start to finish. To learn more about us check out our website https://www.allpointsgroup.com/. Responsibilities Collect field data utilizing GPS and a variety of surveying instruments. Produce field notes and sketches depicting accurate field conditions. Utilize a variety of technology to collaborate with other departments. Organize and prioritize tasks daily. Operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner and in compliance with all local laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid Texas State Driver's License required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Exposure to surveying instruments and processing survey data for 6 months required. Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain required. Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time required. Ability to work independently as a single crew member. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. High degree of attention to detail required.
