This is a senior position which will require knowledge and experience with Easement/ Right-of Way Surveys, Plats, ALTA's, boundaries, property descriptions, topographic surveys, and client relations. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate Field Crews and Survey Technicians in the collection and calculation of field data Data Processing Perform research, field investigations, and project boundary calculations. Preparation of boundary and topographical surveys, project control, metes and bounds descriptions and general survey support for engineering design projects. Manage multiple projects and tasks Adhere to the principles and practices of the Professional Land Surveying Practices Act Define applicable scope(s) of work based on project requirements Provide technical and operational guidance / advice to project teams, on-site representatives, and survey contractors Writes, directs and/or reviews the writing of descriptions of land to satisfy legal requirements Qualifications Education/Experience/Licensure Technical Bachelor's Degree Must possess current Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor License Experience with Boundary/Topo, construction calculations, preparation of right-of-way acquisitions and easements, ALTA/ACSM (NSPS) Land Title Surveys, and AutoCAD/Carlson software TxDOT and/or municipal experience preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Skills Ability to independently manage a team Understanding of and ability to support engineering services Works collaboratively with other departments Provides innovative geospatial solutions in support of engineering deliverables Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be hands-on Ability to summarize project statuses and present effective management reports Ability to plan and execute multiple project tasks Proactive mindset Excellent negotiation, problem-solving skills Strong analytical ability with attention to detail Passion to provide excellent Customer Service Gessner Engineering is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.
