Halff has an immediate opening for a Survey Field Crew Coordinator/Technician in our Fort Worth, TX office.

What you will do:

Assists department personnel with planning and scheduling of field personnel and equipment. Oversees the instruction and direction of survey crews located in the Fort Worth office. this includes daily updates on projects and field crew support The ability to perform quality control duties for all types of survey data in Trimble Business Center. included but not limited to processing RTK data, processing electronic level data, verifying rod/staff heights in raw data to field notes, data adjustments, and correct coding errors to ensure that all data meets the minimum standards set forth by the company. Maintains company vehicles, equipment, and supplies for the survey field crews. Responsible for the application of safe work practices in compliance with the Company's safety rules and helping to recognize possible safety hazards on behalf of the survey crew members. Responsible for the development of employees by leading, training, and motivating employees to satisfy the expectations of their positions.

What you will need:

1-3 years of experience as a Survey Technician. Experience in producing survey maps and plats. Experience in preparing legal descriptions. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience, a plus not required.

Survey Field Crew Coordinator Preferred Requirements:

SIT or CST I, II, or III certification is desired, but not required. Previous field experience as a surveyor is a plus. TxDOT, Electrical or Land Development survey technician experience is a plus. Experience with MicroStation Open Roads Design is a plus. Experience with Trimble Business Center. High level of education is a plus (Associate's degree in Land Survey or Bachelor's degree in Land Survey and/or Geospatial Sciences).
