Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Operate field equipment (GPS, Total Station, Levels) and mentor other staff on proper field procedures. Maintain good communications with office and field staff. Maintain proper field notes and project documentation. LiDAR scanning experience is a plus. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Party Chief performing topographic surveys, TxDOT, ALTA, and boundary surveys, and construction staking. Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions. Able to work starting at 7:00 am, Monday through Friday, typically on a 10-hour workday. Overtime and weekend work may occasionally be necessary to meet project deadlines. Travel when needed will be 5 and 10-day rotations with extended days off afterward. Experience with Leica GPS and conventional equipment is a plus, but not required. Valid driver's license. They will also be required to: stand, walk, use hands, tools, controls, reach with arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as well as lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
