Midland, TX Job Details Full-time 22 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Responsibilities Lead and oversee field and office survey operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Supervise project managers and staff in project planning, scheduling, proposal development, cost estimating, and execution. Serve as the primary liaison with clients, stakeholders, and external agencies. Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives. Coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources to meet project and operational needs. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality assurance/quality control requirements. Conduct performance evaluations, provide training and mentorship, and support employee development. Review and approve survey deliverables, reports, maps, legal descriptions, and professional service proposals. Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and assist in resolving technical and operational challenges. Establish operational goals, improve procedures, and promote a collaborative, high-performing work environment. Travel to project sites, client meetings, and field locations as required. Qualifications 10+ years of surveying experience in both field and office environments. Strong project management, leadership, and team supervision experience. Proven knowledge of survey operations, pipeline construction, mapping, and industry standards. Proficiency with survey equipment and software, including Trimble and AutoCAD. Understanding of state land survey requirements, boundary surveying, topographic surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing project demands, and work effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
