As a surveyor based in the United States, you will play a critical role in measuring and mapping land boundaries to support construction, development, and legal property delineation. Your work will ensure accurate data collection and interpretation, which is essential for land ownership, planning, and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and government officials to provide precise survey data that informs project design and compliance with regulations. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the United States. Proficiency in operating surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS equipment, and levels. Experience with GIS and CAD software for data analysis and map production. Strong understanding of land surveying principles, boundary law, and relevant regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with drone technology and photogrammetry for aerial surveys. Advanced certifications in GIS or specialized surveying techniques. Knowledge of environmental regulations and their impact on land surveying.
