ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate conventional and GPS survey equipment accurately and efficiently measure topographic features and boundary evidence in support of land development, transportation, utility, energy, and land surveying projects. Set up total station, accurately gather survey data. Must be able to locate property corners using a pin finder, recorded deed or subdivision plans or a metes and bounds legal description Must be able to run line work. Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Clean driving record Able to carry a maximum of 75 lbs. of equipment to multiple job sites. Ability to sit, stand, walk, pull and push. Experience assisting in the setup, maintenance, and teardown of equipment or job site materials. Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally from Crew Chiefs Must have excellent attention to detail and strong ability to ensure accuracy. There is very little room for error in this position. Prior experience using hand and power tools Simple mathematics skills Authorized to work in the U.S. High school diploma or equivalent
