Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

We are currently looking for a Junior Party Chief/Survey Technician.

Job Description:

Perform daily field operation leading either a multiple person crew or as a one-person crew. Collect field data for boundary surveys, physical improvement surveys, topographical surveys, and construction surveys. Maintain field equipment. 4 10hr shifts, Mon-Thurs. No traveling.

Requirements:

Previous experience as Party Chief preferred. (Willing to train Instrument Operator with at least 2 years experience.) Knowledge of Total Station, Robotic, and GPS equipment. Ability to work year-round in various weather conditions. Ability to work with a team as well as solo when required. Valid driver's license.
