Job Description

Professional Land Surveyor Position Overview We are seeking a licensed and highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team. This role is ideal for a confident professional with strong expertise in boundary determination, legal descriptions, and survey project management. The successful candidate will oversee projects of varying complexity, ensure technical accuracy, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage small to large-scale survey projects from initiation through completion Perform and oversee complex boundary analysis, legal calculations, and construction layouts Conduct thorough research, including title review and interpretation of legal descriptions Evaluate field data and ensure accuracy and completeness of survey work Prepare and review survey deliverables using CAD software Develop clear project scopes and communicate fieldwork requirements to survey crews Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Supervise survey staff and coordinate field operations for boundary and construction projects Collaborate with the Principal Land Surveyor, project surveyors, technicians, and in-house engineering teams Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies Qualifications Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) Strong expertise in boundary determination and legal description preparation Proven experience interpreting title reports and resolving complex survey issues Proficiency in CAD-based drafting for survey deliverables Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to guide field crews and clearly communicate technical requirements Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Land Survey Senior Project Manager
