Within our Assurance practice, you will support teams by participating in projects and conducting research, gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies. This role offers a chance to observe and contribute to the success of client engagements, providing a foundation for your professional growth. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams with basic tasks, observe professional work environments, and participate in projects. This role emphasizes developing your personal brand and understanding the business landscape. Responsibilities Supporting sustainability reporting initiatives by gathering and analyzing data related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics Participating in the preparation of sustainability reports in alignment with established reporting standards such as GRI and TCFD Assisting in the evaluation of climate finance and nature finance mechanisms to support sustainability projects Engaging in data modeling and analysis to provide insights for sustainability performance improvement Collaborating with teams to conduct materiality assessments and prioritize significant ESG issues for reporting Observing and learning from experienced auditors to understand the processes of providing independent assessments Contributing to the development of technical solutions for enhancing sustainability reporting processes Applying a learning mindset to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies in sustainability reporting Actively listening and asking questions to enhance understanding and contribute effectively to team projects What You Must Have Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Sustainable Resource Management, Environmental Science, Finance At least a 3.0 overall GPA Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application What Sets You Apart Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes Demonstrating knowledge in sustainability reporting standards and frameworks Participating in projects related to climate finance and reporting Applying data analysis skills to support decision-making processes Engaging in teamwork to enhance sustainability reporting initiatives The salary range for this position is: $29.25
