Corporate Procurement Specialist

  • In this strategic role, you will lead key elements of Corporate Procurement's Compliance and Sustainability programs, ensuring alignment with internal policies, global standards, and evolving external regulatory requirements You will work in close partnership with Corporate Sustainability and Compliance functions, as well as with global business units and procurement centers, to advance Linde's agenda across policies, processes, and reporting Governance & Policy Leadership•own and continuously enhance Linde's global Procurement compliance & sustainability governance framework•including policies, standards, and controls•to ensure alignment with internal requirements and external regulations Cross‑Functional Procurement Compliance Ownership•partner with key process owners (SHEQ, Sustainability, Legal, Finance) to define and operate Procurement controls, align on standards, and coordinate annual reporting obligations for Procurement Regulatory Horizon & Implementation•monitor and interpret emerging regulations (e.
g., sustainability disclosures, due diligence), conduct impact assessments and translate regulatory developments into actionable roadmaps, process adaptations, and system/tool updates for global systemic implementation Process Harmonization & Change Leadership
  • drive global process harmonization and standardization in the area of Sustainability & Compliance across procurement centers; lead cross‑regional change management and global rollouts to embed regulatory and policy requirements (e.g., conflict minerals, supply chain due diligence, social responsibility) into operational procurement practice Data Stewardship & KPI Transparency
  • function as data steward for Procurement compliance & sustainability: define data models, ensure data integrity, and deliver global dashboards for KPIs (policy adherence, training completion, Scope 3 tracking), leveraging SAP ERP/BW and reporting systems In the area of Systems, Data Extraction & Tooling you will coordinate ERP/data extraction and reporting improvements to increase transparency, ensure compliance evidence, and integrate new tools alongside local systems and master data processes For the Supplier Engagement & Capability Building you will lead Procurement's supplier sustainability & compliance engagement: integrate ESG/compliance criteria into selection and performance management, run targeted supplier improvement programs, and provide supplier training on Linde standards and Scope 3 expectations You will design and deliver a global training curriculum for Procurement, including mandatory modules, refreshers and certifications related to policies, regulatory requirements, due diligence, and sustainability reporting.
Track training effectiveness and organizational readiness What makes you great You have a Bachelor's degree in business management or engineering or related discipline is required, plus 5+ years of experience as senior project manager, preferably within procurement Demonstrated ease and proficiency in navigating regulatory frameworks Expertise in supply chain due diligence, audit tools, and procurement‑related systems supporting Master Data, Source‑to‑Contract, and Purchase‑to‑Pay processes You have the ability to establish frameworks and knowledge sharing platforms, including training programs Natural affinity for adopting AI‑supported technologies in daily work Experience with supplier Scope 3 GHG emissions and additional sustainability reporting categories Strong project management, implementation, communication, and problem‑solving skills Moreover, you have the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, international environment Solid technical expertise in SAP ERP & BW, reporting systems, and procurement‑related data integration Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Willingness to travel periodically as required Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
