Location:
Corporate - Dallas, TX Gordon Highlander is excited to be launching a Sustainability Program and is seeking a Highlander to help build and lead this initiative. This is a unique career development opportunity for someone who is passionate about construction, enjoys problem solving, and wants to help shape the future of sustainability at Gordon Highlander. While previous sustainability experience is beneficial, it is not required. We are looking for someone with a strong construction background who is eager to learn, grow, and develop into our subject matter expert. What You'll Do Help develop and implement Gordon Highlander's sustainability program across our commercial construction projects. Partner with Operations, Preconstruction, Project Management, and clients to support sustainability initiatives throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with sustainability reporting, certification efforts, and project documentation. Research industry best practices and help develop internal standards, tools, and processes. Deliver training and support project teams as our sustainability program grows. Represent Gordon Highlander as we expand our sustainability capabilities and client offerings.
Experiences/ Skills:
Has experience in commercial construction, preconstruction, project management, or a related field. Is organized, proactive, and enjoys working across multiple teams. Has strong communication and relationship-building skills. Is interested in sustainability and excited to develop expertise in this growing area. Is willing to complete industry certifications, including LEED Green Associate and LEED AP, with company support.
