We're looking for a Construction Management Sustainability Project Coordinator at our Northeast Houston, TX, and our Cary/Raleigh, North Carolina, and our Richmond, Virginia client area who will support the successful integration of sustainability and green building requirements throughout the construction phase of projects, who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects focused on designing state of the art structures within Advanced Facilities. This role serves as a critical liaison between design teams, construction managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure sustainability goals—particularly LEED and related certification requirements—are effectively implemented, documented, and achieved. Come be a part of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world-class designs for well-known clients around the world. Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills and we'll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together.

  • Review product data submittals for compliance with sustainability requirements, especially as related to LEED material credits.
  • Track and maintain sustainability documentation in certification platforms (e.g., LEED Online and Green Badger). Field Inspections & Audits
  • Conduct onsite waste management audits, erosion and sediment control (ESC) inspections, indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments, and sustainable materials verification.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with construction teams and subcontractors to address deficiencies and maintain compliance.
  • Maintain organized field records, inspection reports, and photographic documentation. Training & Collaboration
  • Support training efforts for subcontractors and project teams on sustainability requirements, waste procedures, material tracking, and best practices.
  • Act as a bridge between design intent and construction execution, assisting with interpretation of sustainability specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to integrate sustainability tasks into construction schedules and workflows. Reporting & Client Engagement
  • Develop and maintain monthly sustainability reporting dashboards, including metrics tracking, narrative summaries, and progress updates.
  • Communicate sustainability progress, challenges, and milestones to internal teams and clients.
  • Assist with client presentations and responses related to sustainability performance and certification status. Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve sustainability processes, documentation efficiency, and field implementation.
  • Stay current on evolving sustainability standards, LEED updates, and construction best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of construction-related experience, preferably with onsite exposure.
  • Working knowledge of LEED rating systems and sustainability requirements; experience reviewing material submittals for LEED compliance.
  • Understanding of construction documents, specifications, and submittal processes.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Access, Outlook and Excel and project delivery and schedule management software tools.
  • LEED Green Associate or Accredited Professional certification preferred

  • Ability to perform field inspections, audits, and data collection in active construction environments.
  • Experience with additional green building programs (e.g., WELL, Envision etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with dashboards or data tracking tools a plus.
