Global Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability Specialist Fluke - 3.5 Everett, WA Job Details $88,205 - $147,315 a year 4 hours ago Qualifications Occupational health expertise EHS Enterprise software Enterprise solutions implementation Software administration Data analytics System development Manufacturing company experience Environmental management systems Stakeholder management Full Job Description About the Role Fluke is seeking a Global Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) Specialist to drive the development and execution of a robust, scalable Global Safety Management System while supporting enterprise EHS systems and daily operational excellence. This role is critical in strengthening our global safety culture, ensuring compliance, and reducing risk across our operations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical EHS expertise, systems administration capability, and a continuous improvement mindset aligned with the Fortive Business System (FBS). Key Responsibilities Global Safety Management System (SMS) Lead the design, development, and global implementation of a standardized Safety Management System (SMS) aligned with regulatory requirements and Fortive standards Establish global policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency across sites Drive adoption and continuous improvement of safety programs, including risk assessments, incident management, and preventive controls EHS Systems Administration & Data Management Serve as the global EHS systems administrator , managing platforms for incident tracking, compliance, audits, and reporting Ensure data integrity, system optimization, and user adoption across regions Develop dashboards, KPIs, and visual management tools to drive transparency and performance improvements Partner with IT and business stakeholders to enhance system capabilities and integrations Compliance, Risk Reduction & Program Execution Develop, implement, and evaluate EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards Identify and mitigate EHS risks through proactive programs and continuous improvement initiatives Provide technical expertise and guidance to sites on regulatory compliance, hazard control, and best practices Partnership & Continuous Improvement (FBS) Partner with business, functional, and FBS leaders to drive action plans that close gaps and improve safety and environmental performance Support problem-solving, root cause analysis, and countermeasure implementation Lead or support Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives focused on EHS outcomes Training, Communication & Culture Develop and deliver EHS training programs to build capability and reinforce a strong safety culture Support leadership engagement and accountability for EHS performance Promote proactive safety behaviors and continuous learning across the organization External Engagement & Reporting Interface with regulatory agencies, auditors, and external stakeholders as needed Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements Ensure timely and accurate submission of compliance documentation Occupational Health & Worker Wellbeing (as applicable) Support implementation of occupational health programs aligned with regulatory and company standards Partner with internal stakeholders to promote worker health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of progressive experience in EHS within a manufacturing, industrial, or global organization Experience developing or implementing EHS/Safety Management Systems Experience administering EHS software systems and managing data/analytics Preferred Qualifications Experience in a global, matrixed organization Strong knowledge of international EHS regulations and standards Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, ISO 14001/45001) Experience with Fortive Business System (FBS) or similar continuous improvement methodologies Proven ability to influence without authority and drive cross-functional alignment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Key Competencies Systems thinking and process design Data-driven decision making Continuous improvement mindset Collaboration and stakeholder engagement Strong execution and accountability Additional Information Travel may be required (~10-25%) Based in Everett, Washington This is a 100% onsite role Fortive Corporation Overview Fortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
