Pay range: $24 - $27 an hour
Our client is seeking a Lead Technician I to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. This position works independently on complex equipment, helps solve technical issues, and provides guidance to less experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical system issues.
Perform testing, maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on company products and equipment.
Read and interpret drawings, schematics, manuals, and work instructions.
Assist with system integration, setup, and performance testing.
Identify and recommend improvements to processes, equipment, and workflows.
Complete required documentation, inspection records, and test reports.
Support production, engineering, quality, and service teams as needed.
Train and assist junior technicians in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a technician, maintenance, assembly, or test role involving hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Experience using common hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Forklift and crane experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, or related equipment.
Experience testing and troubleshooting complex assemblies or systems.
Previous experience mentoring or training other technicians.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
Ability to work around hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment safely.
