Job Title:
RF Test Specialist Job Description Join a dynamic team where you will interpret electrical design schematics and support troubleshooting efforts under general supervision. You will interface frequently with Test Technicians, Assemblers, and work across various functional areas such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production Leads, and Project Managers. Collaborate with departments at different locations to refine requirements and ensure testing aligns with deliverable intentions. Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems, utilizing your understanding and ability to troubleshoot RF/electrical/electronic systems using technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. This role requires familiarity with computerized data acquisition and automated test control systems and instrumentation. This is a temporary assignment with the potential for regular full-time employment. Responsibilities Interpret electrical design schematics. Support troubleshooting efforts under general supervision. Interface frequently with Test Technicians, Assemblers, and other departments. Work across functional areas such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production Leads, and Project Managers. Collaborate with departments at other locations, refining requirements for testing. Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Utilize understanding and ability to troubleshoot RF/electrical/electronic systems. Familiarize with computerized data acquisition and automated test control systems. Essential Skills Experience with Automated Test Scripts, Python, Test Stand and/or LabView software. Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). Functional understanding of Electronic Test Equipment (VOM, Spec An's, Power Meters, etc.), reading and interpreting schematics, and IPC-Certified Soldering. Experience with Microsoft Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with RF Testing. Knowledge and experience with advanced PCBA rework techniques. Experience with any Manufacturing Execution System (MES) - Preferably Epicor. IPC Certification. Work Environment The role is performed on the floor with regular weekly meetings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
