Test Proctor

We seek applicants for temporary, part-time positions to administer and provide test security for exams proctored in the College's Testing Center , including placement and make-up testing. Schedule generally is anticipated to include up to 20 hours per week, including a combination of daytime and evening hours, but may vary in accordance with fluctuating needs of the Testing Center. General responsibilities include but are not limited to: Administer exams based on provided guidelines and/or established placement exam requirements Actively proctor exams in testing rooms to ensure test integrity Support operations of testing rooms in accordance with establish procedures and perform opening, daily, and/or closing responsibilities depending on schedule Communicate placement test scores, retesting options, and next steps to students Enforce established policies and complete incident reports for violations Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and provide excellent customer service in fulfilling duties Associate degree or appropriate experience/education Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel Ability to effectively enforce established policies and procedures Work experience in a testing environment Familiarity with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Due to test related security considerations, current and recent HCC students may not serve in this position.
