Job Description

Your tasksInspect, photograph, and document products for assessment against international, national, and customer-specific requirementsPerform and monitor product testing according to applicable standards, procedures, and project scopeCollect and record test data (e.g., test data sheets, graphs) and prepare accurate test reports, incident reports, and technical summariesOperate, troubleshoot, and care for test equipment (including customized rigs and software) and validate calibrations are current and within range during useUpdate supervisors and program managers with daily project status and complete work within agreed timelines and budgetsSupport shipping and receiving of samples, logging/tagging, and consumables control; perform equipment verifications or calibrations and proficiency testing as assignedFollow all TUV SUD quality, safety, and information-security policies; report equipment or sample damage immediately, and complete timesheets dailyYour qualificationsAbility to understand and apply basic electrical and/or mechanical concepts in a lab environmentProven attention to detail with experience performing tests to written procedures and documenting resultsProficiency operating laboratory test equipment and using MS Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong organization and communication skills; remains focused and professional in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work overtime as requiredTechnical degree or equivalent training/experience preferredWhat we offerHands-on, mission-critical testing work with exposure to environmental, vibration, battery, electrical, and physical testingStructured onboarding, on-the-job training, and opportunities to broaden skills across service areasCollaborative, safety-focused culture with clear procedures, tools, and support from experienced engineersGlobal company platform with stable processes, career pathways, and customer-facing project experienceCompetitive total rewards in line with local market and role requirementsAdditional informationService areas you may support include environmental testing, vibration testing, battery testing (cell, module, pack), electrical testing, and physical testing (loading, cycling)All employees are expected to work in a manner that supports a safe and healthy workplace and to follow established environmental, health, and safety rules and practices Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability and VeteranTUV SUD America, Inc. is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, marital status, genetics, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, physical or mental disability, veteran status and those laws, directives, and regulations of Federal, State, and Local governing bodies or agencies.
