Job Description

Purpose:
Gain in depth knowledge of testing procedures and practices, and apply them to complete accurate and repeatable tests as required by engineering.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities :
Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program. Have a working knowledge of high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment and power transmission. Be able to work productively and efficiently with these technologies in a safe manner. Perform routine assigned duties to test prototype models, integral components, production assemblies, or other parts to support the research and development of company products Track and explain testing incidentals and assist in formulating standards by addressing malfunctions, breakdowns, or failures of test subjects and equipment Set up standard and special purpose equipment to evaluate individual components and complete assemblies Disassembles test equipment and inspect components for defects Measure parts for conformity with specifications Analyze product failures Align, repair, and replace component parts and assemblies as required for test completion Assist engineers in formulating test, calibration, and repair procedures to maintain measurement accuracy and test repeatability Fabricate and modify test components and assemblies as required. Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent; One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to apply basic algebraic and geometric formulas as outlined in test procedures Ability to stand, walk, or sit for up to 75% of shift Ability to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
