Job Description

MAIN FUNCTION
Monitor and coordinate inventory movements of RMA products. Assume lead responsibilities for the testing of all RMA products Assist in providing directions and training to RMA Testers and temporary help Participate in the testing of returned product from RMAs, or other in-house products Responsible for maintaining inventory aging and accuracy Transfer tested product to specified locations using PNY s Epicor ERP system Make test result entries in the applicable spreadsheets or in the Epicor Log.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school or technical school certification or equivalent (electronics) 1-3 years' experience in QC or a product testing environment Working knowledge of computer hardware and accessories Ability to effectively lead a team Ability to communicate effectively in English; also, Spanish a plus Ability to multitask and prioritize workload Basic PC skills, including MS Excel and Outlook Working knowledge of ERP systems; Epicor a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Job responsibilities include viewing small parts through magnifying tools, and occasional lifting of boxes weighing less than 40 pounds.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Interfaces with Operations personnel, Test Engineering, and other Quality personnel
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Strictly follow ESD compliance process and procedure. Lead RMA Testing team to achieve established goals. Coordinate testing based on predetermined prioritization and or based on $ aging. Develop a proficiency at PNY product identification to be able to sort/consolidate all RMA products. Monitor daily activity of testing and system transfers of RMA products. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, including periodic accounting audits. Perform visual inspection to check for gross defects and Customer Induced Damage (CID), prior to testing. Extract USB PCBAs from their plastic housing using the appropriate tools, while wearing PPE such as safety glasses Perform the applicable testing, as prescribed by Test Engineering. Alert Test Engineering of malfunctioning test equipment, or when observing repetitive failures. Label/tag test rejects with descriptive cause of failure. Oversee the work of temporary help, when deployed. Keep work-in-process, accepted products, and rejected products, segregated from each other at all times. Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Assist in other areas, as assigned.
COMPENSATION
The base pay range for this position is $21.64 to $24.04; the exact rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
