This hands-on position is ideal for a technically skilled professional with 3+ years of experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting, and quality control. If interested please call Chris at 631-784-3161 or email chris.caiozzo@randstadusa.com salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Test and troubleshoot fiber optic assemblies, cables, connectors, and electronic assemblies. Perform optical and electrical testing using appropriate test equipment and instrumentation. Diagnose failures and identify root causes of fiber optic and electronic issues. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Perform continuity, signal, power, and functional testing of electronic assemblies. Perform fiber optic testing, including optical loss and related performance measurements. Inspect fiber optic terminations, connectors, splices, and assemblies for quality and workmanship. Set up and operate test fixtures, meters, optical power meters, light sources, and other laboratory/test equipment. Document test results, defects, troubleshooting activities, and corrective actions accurately. Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. Assist with developing and improving test procedures and troubleshooting processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe test environment. Follow established quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
