Job Title:
Test TechnicianJob Description Join a global leader in designing, building, and servicing critical infrastructure that supports vital applications in data centers, communication networks, and industrial facilities. As a Test Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team working with advanced power, thermal, and infrastructure management solutions, supporting the rapidly growing mobile and cloud computing markets. Responsibilities
+ Perform functional testing of UPS, Charger, and Inverter modules.
+ Conduct witness tests and assist Test Engineers during these tests.
+ Verify conformance to all specified requirements.
+ Perform electrical and systems testing on UPS units.
+ Design and develop instrumentation systems with uncertainty analysis for accurate testing.
+ Collect data using electronic equipment.
+ Conduct physical and functional inspections of electrical components.
+ Operate test bays/stations and associated equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair faulty components.
+ Assess product evaluation against engineered standards, including
UL/CSA/IEEE
standards.
+ Review order write-ups and ensure product quality.
+ Work with other departments to ensure quality and verify units meet agency approvals.
+ Configure and connect system equipment, including switchgear, SCCT cabinets, and power ties.
+ Perform preliminary inspections and tests. Essential Skills
+ Experience with PCB, Test Engineering, and Electrical Circuits.
+ Proficiency in analog and digital circuitry and electrical instruments.
+ Knowledge of electronics, voltage, power electronics, transformers, and switchgear.
+ Experience with Uninterrupted Power Supply systems.
+ Skills in electrical troubleshooting and testing.
+ Familiarity with DC and AC power systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associates degree in Electronics or higher, or equivalent of 1 year of experience.
+ Experience with 208V or higher electrical systems.
+ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills. Work Environment Work in a clean manufacturing environment alongside 12 other engineers and technicians. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
