The Electro-Mechanical Test Technician reinforces our Quality Culture through rigorous product testing to ensure that Customers across the world receive the highest quality best performing products possible. They perform assembly, integration and final testing of components in our wafer based Dual Beam systems. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. This position also participates in continuous process improvement activities to maintain the highest standards for workplace safety and quality. What will you do? Perform testing using prescribed methods/work instructions Collect test data then analyze data to make process decisions Performs wide variety of troubleshooting to identify problems Perform machine set-up, calibration and preventative maintenance Rebuild manufacturing equipment when needed to ensure operability Education High school diploma or equivalent required A 2-year technical degree preferred Experience At least 1 years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience is required Background in precision mechanical assembly and low volume, complex manufacturing processes preferred Previous experience using test equipment preferred (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes) Experience in lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement a plus Previous troubleshooting experience in a Clean Room environment is a plus Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to read detailed drawings and perform basic troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical assemblies at the component and system level Demonstrated ability in successfully working in a Team of 8-10 ...
