Test Technician

Test Technician Milwaukie, OR Day or Swing Shift 10-hour shifts Job Description We are seeking a Test Technician to join our team and contribute to the testing of electrical power supplies and magnetic components used in the aerospace industry. This role involves recording data, troubleshooting product issues, and utilizing electrical test tools such as oscilloscopes and ohm meters. You will work with both low and high voltage electrical/electronic products, read technical work instructions and schematics, and build and assemble test fixtures as needed. Responsibilities Test electrical power supplies and magnetic components. Record and accurately document test data. Troubleshoot product issues and provide solutions. Use electrical test tools including oscilloscopes and ohm meters. Work with low and high voltage electrical/electronic products. Read and interpret technical work instructions and schematics. Build and assemble test fixtures for various tests. Conduct tests such as DCR, Hipot (DWV), Insulation resistance, Inductance, Core Loss, Output Voltage, and Corona. Essential Skills At least two years of experience in manual testing of electronic assemblies. Ability to perform manual tests with at least one of the following: DCR, Hipot (DWV), Insulation resistance, Inductance, Core Loss, Output Voltage, Corona. Proficient in reading technical work instructions and basic schematics. Competence in using computer systems for data recording. Troubleshooting and repair experience is valued. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with soldering is a plus. Knowledge of electronic test equipment and schematics diagrams. Background as an Electronics Technician or Electrical Technician. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is clean and quiet, equipped with several work benches and workstations. We have openings on the day shift from 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, and on the swing shift from 11am-9pm, Monday-Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukie, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
