Job Description

Process/Test Engineering & Operations Support Technician Shifts Available:
First Shift:
7am to 3pm, $19.41 per hour
Second Shift:
3pm to 11pm, $20.19 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Process/Test Engineering & Operations Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in electronics, experience with test/debug, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role requires problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform complex tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for printed circuit boards, subassemblies, and production equipment. Perform new or unusual tests, procedures, simulations, or process changes. Read and analyze schematics, circuit descriptions, and other technical documentation. Perform soldering and repair work as needed (IPC-certified preferred). Assist with routine production operations in compliance with site standards. Use hand and power tools for assembly/disassembly of products. Maintain equipment setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
1-2 years of relevant experience in electronics, testing, or repair. Diploma in Electronics or related field, or equivalent education/experience. Strong knowledge of electronic circuitry, debugging, and test procedures. Ability to interpret product specifications, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with electrical and mechanical measurement, calibration, and test equipment. Proficiency with Windows-based applications and computer systems.
IPC 610/7711
certification preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, soldering equipment, machinery, and temperature variations. Ability to perform repetitive motions, prolonged sitting, microscope work, and light physical exertion (handling materials, using tools).
